- Diploma or GED with 6 - 20 years machining experience in MFG environments
- Exp with mills and or lathes
- Exp performing 3-4-axis programming user Mastercam is required
- able to read and interpret drawings (GDT)
- Willing and able to set up machines
- Sets up and operates milling machines
- Selects, mounts, and aligns various specialized attachments, tooling;
- Plans sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup;
- Determines, sets, and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depth of cut;
- Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications;
- Use hand tools / measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators
- Uses shop math and measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points
- Must perform own setups and be able to determine sequence of operations.
