MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

4 years work experience Background in composites (design, analysis, test, repair or all of the above to support the testing and repair of composite structures.
3 plus years' experience in setting up composite damage tolerance tests and familiar with processing and/or repair of composite structures. This engineer would be working with an in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) in composite structures
Researches, plans, analyzes, designs, and develops mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and other devices.
• Function as a Technical point of contact (POC) on government contracts for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) & Notice of Revisions. • Create & maintain product parts, assemblies & drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 4.0 M080 modeling software.
Education Requirements:
B.S. degree in a relevant technical discipline (typically mechanical or aerospace engineering
•Experience creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferable PTC Pro-E or CREO.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance up to Secret Level
