Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Inspector                                  

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain radiographic techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements
Perform inspections using film, Computed Radiography (CR),Digital Radiographic Test (DRT) and Penetrant Test (PT)

Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order
Perform all necessary daily, weekly, monthly process control checks
Documentation and organization of inspection results
Interface/communicate with Engineers and/or Managers to describe inspection results
May provide guidance to other inspectors

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Minimum 3 years' experience as a certified Level 2 in Radiography and Penetrant Testing
Texas State Card: They can get this once they start.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)

Desired

Level 2 or substantive experience in UT Thickness measurements
Experience in eddy current (ET)
Experience in low rate high mix production environment, preferably in aerospace
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, additive manufacturing, forging, casting and composites fabrication

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory:
Certified Level 2 in Radiographer Texas State Card Certified Level 2 in Dye Penetrant
