Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing  of launch vehicle pneumatics and propellant systems. 


Designing and routing fluid subsystem components, panels, tubing, and secondary structure
Designing pressurized fluid components (i.e., mechanisms, valves, regulators, test fixtures) including detailed design, analysis, specification, procurement, testing, and integration
Creating CAD parts, assemblies, and tube models using Creo 6.0 and Pro Piping
Creating detailed engineering drawings using Creo 6.0 and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
Structural analysis and documentation of pressurized systems including hand calculations and FEA as necessary using ANSYS
Conduct or support fluid component and subsystem level testing including test planning, test execution, data reduction, and analysis


B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent
2+ years of experience
Experience with 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred)
Experience with drafting and GD&T using ASME Y14.5
Experience in the use of FEA analysis tools (ANSYS preferred)
Experience with pressurized system or component design
Experience with designing hardware for aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles, or other high performance industries
Knowledge of fabrication, integration processes and quality control relative to tubes/piping and machined components
Working knowledge of aerospace materials and treatments
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
