Creo Mechanical Designer 

Qualifications

10+ years of design and drafting experience of structural parts, precision components, and subsystems using Creo/Wildfire/Pro-Engineer
Proficient in Windchill and Creo View
Strong work ethic, high attention to detail and great communication skills
Knowledge of fabrication and integration processes for machined components and welded assemblies
Experience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings
Proficient with ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41, etc.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)

Desired
15+ years of design and drafting experience off structural parts, precision components, and subsystems using Creo/Wildfire/Pro-Engineer
Working knowledge of materials, machine design, mechanisms and additive manufacturing (AM) techniques
Experience in component/assembly level structural/thermal FEA
Extensive practice in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
Rocket engine structural and fluid systems experience

Responsibilities
Design and maintain component and assembly product definition by preparing design layouts and drawings, modifying existing designs and resolving design discrepancies
Apply Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly
Apply relevant company, industry (design, drafting, parts) standards to engineering designs
Implement engineering and manufacturing best practices to achieve a balanced approach to cost, schedule and performance requirements
Self-prioritize and self-schedule work activity in support of the team
