As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will be responsible for developing and executing test campaigns in support of manufacturing and qualifying flight avionics hardware. You will coordinate test system requirements with Avionics subsystem owners, integration and test engineers, and operations personnel. This hands-on position requires experience in developing and validating environmental and/or EMI/EMC test procedures and executing test campaigns to produce reliable flight hardware for re-usable launch vehicles. Minimum of a B.S. in electrical, computer engineering or related field
2+ years of hands-on experience designing, operating and maintaining automated test and measurement equipment
Sound knowledge of electronics, electrical circuit fundamentals

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience managing complex projects combining hardware, firmware, and software
Passion for hands-on problem solving and avionics integration and test
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs
Ability to travel to and work at remote sites supporting test integration, commissioning, and training
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

5+ years of test and operations experience (aircraft, launch vehicles, spacecraft)
Sound knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, IEC & automotive standards or equivalent

Experience developing hardware to IPC J-STD-0001xS, IPC/WHMA-A-620x-S, and/or NASA-STD-8739.n standards
Experience with safety-critical systems development (automotive, aerospace, medical, etc.)
Graduate degree in electrical or aerospace engineering or a related field
Developing and maintaining avionics test procedures in compliance with company standards
Designing and maintaining automated test equipment to support verification of avionics requirements
Developing and maintaining test standards, interface with subsystem stakeholders, and support procurement of capital equipment to maintain test readiness
Validation of automated test equipment and systems
Facilitating performance testing, calibration, environmental testing of avionics development hardware per test plans
Providing support to identify root cause for failures and manage the rework of prototype hardware during development test and debug cycles
Establishing and maintaining test result metrics to support continuous improvement in data reduction, retention, and reporting methods and standards
Maintaining automated test equipment configuration control and traceability to support quality audits
Facilitating transition of development avionics hardware into production
