Description:
Project Manager working with facilities/engineering on fabrication, comissioning, and activation of complex equipment to be installed on the landing platform vessel and facility modfiications.  The position will involve all aspects of project management to include cost, schedule, technical design, and risk management as well as working with company's internal organizations and suppliers to deliver a qualified system. 

Qualifications:

BS Degree
4+ years' experience with a background in project management of ground launch systems, offshore equipment, or construction management
Experience in project management in a technical environment
PMP certification
Self-starter, strong bias for action
Experience with Microsoft Project and balancing internal and external schedules
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)

Desired:

Experience managing suppliers during design, procurement and build cycles of offshore or aerospace tooling and related components
Experience in oil/gas offshore equipment
Experience in project management of piping and structural fabrications
Familiarity with offshore maritime regulations (ie USCG CFRs, ABS, DNV)
Experience with Primavera (P6), DOORS, CREO, Windchill, Microsoft Project
Experience with high pressure (GN2/GHe) systems & their operations
Experience with hazardous electrical classifications (ie. NEC article 500, IECex, ATEX)

Responsibilities:

Understand and communicate engineering and program requirements to suppliers and supplier capabilities to engineering teams and management
Plan and negotiate with suppliers and engineering design teams to meet program technical, schedule, and cost expectations
Manage supplier performance to schedule, requirements, and cost goals.
Conduct meetings with suppliers to status performance, manage risks and resolve issues
Communicate risks and risk abatement plans to management
Manage a integrated master schedule of various complex subsystem supporting offshore recovery operations
