In this role you will also coordinate with Program Teams on program requirements to ensure required materials are timed to meet production deadlines.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintaining requirements using SAP, negotiation, and supplier management to execute purchase orders with suppliers
  • Creating and editing documents using Microsoft Office products, to include Excel
  • Prioritizing your workload and working to achieve deadlines, whilst managing business expectations
  • Thinking strategically to drive the purchasing agenda, delivering on value and quality
  • Interfacing and leading cross functional teams
  • Understanding load and capacity constraints within a supplier that may impact performance and delivery
  • Must be able to travel domestically 15%

 

Basic:

  • Associates Degree with 6+ years of experience in supply change management, purchasing, and/or production planning within an Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Logistics environment OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience in supply change management, purchasing, and/or production planning within an Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Logistics environment OR
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • In lieu of degree 10+ years’ experience in supply change management, purchasing, and/or production planning within an Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Logistics environment
